The film hit the courts on July 20. It marks the directorial debut in Hindi of Aditya Sarpotdar, the man behind critically acclaimed Marathi films like – “Classmates”, “Mauli” and “Faster Fene”. The film will be released digitally in 2022. The directors have yet to announce a streaming platform for the film.
Besides Sonakshi, the film also stars Riteish Deshmukh and Saqib Saleem. In an interaction with PTI, Riteish said, âI can’t wait to get started and work on the film with Sonakshi and Saqib. Personally, I love the horror comedy genre and ‘Kakuda’ is a great opportunity for me to explore the role of a ghost hunter. ”
