According The Hollywood Reporter, stranger things Star Maya Hawke has officially been cast alongside her mother, Oscar nominee Uma Thurman, in the upcoming dark comedy thriller The killing room. Debi Mazar (Freedmen) and Larry Pine (Moonrise Kingdom) also joined the cast.
They will join previously confirmed cast members Samuel L. Jackson and Joe Manganiello. This is Thurman and Jackson’s latest collaboration after starring together in Quentin Tarantino’s cult classic, pulp Fiction.

“It revolves around a hitman, Reggie (Manganiello), his boss (Jackson), an art dealer (Thurman) and their money laundering scheme that accidentally turns the hitman into a sensation avant-garde overnight, forcing her to play the art world against the underworld,” reads the synopsis.
The killing room will be directed by Nicol Paone from a screenplay written by Jonathan Jacobson. The film is a Yale Entertainment production.
