John Krasinski and Ryan Reynolds will bring their big name talent to the same movie in 2023!
The Peaceful place star and dead Pool actor team up for a fantasy comedy film titled Imaginary friends, which will also include Chip bag star Phoebe Waller-Bridge, PEOPLE confirmed on Friday.
Krasinski, 42, is attached to co-starring, producing and directing, and is also writing the film. Reynolds, 45, will join him on screen and is also expected to be the film’s producer.

Kill Eve ‘s Fiona Shaw, who starred with Waller-Bridge in an episode of Chip bag, is also ready to star in the film.
Imaginary friends will revolve around a man who can communicate with other people’s imaginary old friends, some of whom he finds out are angry or sad about being put aside, as seen on IMDb.

Imaginary friends is set to go into production next summer, presumably after Reynolds took a sabbatical from filmmaking.
The film is currently in preparation for a Thanksgiving 2023 release. The Paramount film was first announced by Hollywood journalist in 2019.
