The Foo Fighters Reportedly Starred in Secret Horror/Comedy Movie Hatchet 3 director BJ Mc Donnel. The film is said to have been shot in secret during the pandemic and will feature a group of “all-star cameos”. Who knows what that means, but our friends from Bloody disgusting say the movie is from Universal Studios. The Foo Fighters, currently made up of Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Taylor Hawkins, Chris Shifiettand Rami Jaffee, would apparently star in the film. Think KISS in Kiss meets the ghost of the park, as BD pointed out for a frame of reference and what to probably expect from it.
Foo Fighters are perfect for this. They also released a new album.
The Foo Fighters are seamlessly integrated into this. Dave has always had a playful nature, much like the rest of the band, often starring in their own videos over the years. This includes those with a comedic side. They also have a new album that came out in February, medicine at midnight. It’s a very good album, with three singles released so far. Here’s hoping the pandemic eases to the point that we can get back to live shows soon, because the Foo Fighters are one of the best concert experiences you can have.
As for the movie, bring it on. There aren’t enough horror comedies being made these days, and we need a good one. Blast cameos from funny people and other bands, put them all on the soundtrack and away you go. When I close my eyes and think about it, it definitely has a Scooby-Doo tone to it. Dave even has a Scooby-Doo style voice when he’s not singing. No timeline on a release is known at this time, but we’ll keep you posted.
