Jurassic World: Dominion (2022) should be the last film both in the jurassic world series and main jurassic park series. The jurassic park The franchise has enjoyed great success since its debut in 1993, both critically and financially, and to date has spawned five sequels.
That doesn’t sound like much for a 30-year-old franchise, but there’s a long way to go when it comes to the jurassic park movies (or jurassic world movies, depending on your preference). And there are also many major events to note in almost every entry.
But if you don’t have time to watch all the films of the jurassic park frankness before watching Jurassic World: Dominiondon’t worry, because we’ve prepared a recap of the previous five films, as well as the two canonical shorts that have hit YouTube in the past few years.

InGen CEO John Hammond (Richard Attenborough) invites paleontologist Dr Alan Grant (Sam Neill), paleobotanist Dr Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern) and mathematician Dr Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) for a private tour of his park remote themed Costa Rica Resort a year before it opened, where dinosaurs were brought back to life.
But there’s a lot InGen doesn’t know about its genetically engineered dinosaurs. The same goes for their own employees, when disgruntled computer programmer Dennis Nedry (Wayne Knight) shuts down power throughout the park in an attempt to steal dinosaur embryos for rival corporation Biosyn.
When the t-rex and the raptors escape, Grant must lead Hammond’s grandchildren, Lex (Ariana Richards) and Tim Murphy (Joe Mazzello), safely through the jungle. Meanwhile, Ellie, Hammond and Malcolm attempt to restore power to the park so they can send for a helicopter.
During a terrifying confrontation with the raptors at the visitor center, Grant, Ellie and the children are inadvertently saved by the t-rex. Then they quickly join Hammond and Malcolm in the helicopter before heading to the mainland, leaving Jurassic Park to its own devices.

The Lost World: Jurassic Park
The Lost World: Jurassic Park resumes four years after the events of jurassic parkthis time focusing on Dr. Ian Malcolm, whose career was turned upside down after he went public with the incident on InGen’s private island in Costa Rica.
But Malcolm soon learns from John Hammond that there is a second island inhabited by dinosaurs – Site B, AKA Isla Sorna. And after learning that his girlfriend, Dr. Sarah Harding (Julianne Moore), has traveled there to document the dinosaurs, Malcolm leads a rescue mission.
Meanwhile, Hammond’s nephew and new CEO of InGen, Peter Ludlow (Arliss Howard) also heads to Site B with an army of game hunters to capture dinosaurs and bring them back to “Jurassic Park San Diego”. ready to use.
Soon, the two teams are forced to unite when their camps are destroyed. Eventually a rex is captured and shipped to the mainland, however, the dinosaur breaks free and wreaks havoc in San Diego. Ludlow is killed, and the rex, along with her cubs, is brought safely back to Isla Sorna.

Jurassic Park 3
Four years after the San Diego incident, Jurassic Park 3 concludes that Site B and its airspace is a restricted area. But that doesn’t stop curious visitors, and when Eric Kirby (Trevor Morgan) is taken parasailing by his stepfather, he finds himself stuck in the jungle.
Meanwhile, Dr. Alan Grant and his assistant Billy Brennan (Alessandro Nivola) are desperate to secure funding for future excavations, and when Grant is approached by a wealthy couple who offer handsome compensation for his services as aerial tourist guide of the site. B, he reluctantly agrees.
But it soon turns out that Paul (William H Macy) and Amanda Kirby (Tea Leoni) aren’t who they say they are – they’re actually Eric’s parents, and the tour is an excitement. After the plane crashes, Grant is forced to lead the survivors to safety, while searching for the Kirbys’ lost son.
The group is stalked by a spinosaurus and a pack of raptors, and Grant learns that Billy has been stealing raptor eggs for the black market to help fund their digs. Eventually, Eric is found safe and sound, and Grant’s good friend Ellie Sattler sends the Navy and Marines to rescue the group from the island.

14 years after the events of Jurassic Park 3, and there is already an operational park on the home island. Owned by the Masrani Corporation, Jurassic World is a much more ambitious theme park complex than its failed predecessor Jurassic Park.
However, attendance at the park is at an all-time low as people begin to lose interest in the dinosaurs. So to encourage more visitors, Dr. Henry Wu (BD Wong), who previously worked for John Hammond, created a genetic dinosaur hybrid known as Indominus Rex.
When the Indominus Rex appears to have disappeared from its containment unit, park operations manager Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard) and animal behaviorist Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) investigate. But the Indominus tricked them and seized the opportunity to escape.
The park is thrown into turmoil and Owen’s highly trained raptors are released to kill the hybrid. But the plan fails, so Claire frees the original t-rex, and with the help of the surviving raptor Blue, the Indominus is killed. The park is evacuated and the dinosaurs take over Isla Nublar once again.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom
It’s been four years since Jurassic World fell apart. But now, an impending volcanic eruption threatens the island and its prehistoric inhabitants, causing the world to divide – should the dinosaurs be allowed to survive, or is it a natural fix, as Dr Ian Malcolm puts it?
Claire Dearing, now head of the Dinosaur Protection Agency, visits Benjamin Lockwood (James Cromwell) in Northern California, a dying billionaire who helped John Hammond build Jurassic Park. Like Claire, he wants redemption and plans to save the dinosaurs from extinction.
His assistant Eli Mills (Rafe Spall) organizes the mission and invites Claire and Owen Grady to join his military team on the island. But during the destruction of Isla Nublar, it turns out that Mills tricked Lockwood and intends to sell the dinosaurs at an illegal auction at Lockwood Manor.
Later at the mansion, Claire and Owen meet young Maisie Lockwood (Isabella Sermon), Lockwood’s granddaughter, who turns out to be a human clone. When a genetic hybrid known as Indoraptor is released, the auction becomes a bloodbath. To save the dinosaurs from a gas leak caused during the chaos, Maisie releases them all, including Blue, into the desert.

Battle at Big Rock
The first short film of the jurassic park offers a glimpse of life on the North American continent a year after the environmental disaster seen at the end of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdomin which dinosaurs are released into the North American wild.
While on a camping trip, a blended family becomes the target of an allosaurus after attacking a migrating family of nasutoceratops. Although the family manages to survive, it’s just one of many dinosaur-related problems plaguing the country.
Mid-credits footage reveals a hulking stegosaurus ramming a car off a highway, pteranadons attacking an outdoor wedding, and a young girl being chased by compys.

Jurassic World: Dominion Prologue
The second short film of the jurassic park franchise is actually the prologue of Jurassic World: Dominion. The five-minute teaser spends a lot of time in the Cretaceous period, showcasing natural dinosaurs in their natural habitats.
We also see a t-rex fighting a giganotosaurus, and losing unceremoniously. However, this is simply to show us how the original jurassic park The t-rex’s journey has begun, as we see a mosquito feeding on its fresh carcass.
Flash-forward 65 million years, and “Rexy” is chased by a police helicopter to her new home, the Sierra Nevada forest, where she has lived for four years since escaping Lockwood Manor. .
